Dr. Sujin Kim

Dr. Sujin Kim is currently in her 8th year as Director of Forest-Aires Women’s Chorus. She obtained her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance at the College-Conservatory of Music, where she received a full scholarship to study piano with Michael Chertock. She holds a master’s degree in piano performance from CCM. Ms. Kim is an active performer, both as a soloist and collaborative pianist, and she enjoys working with people through music. Kim is currently working as director of music at Sycamore Presbyterian Church and director of Sycamore School of Music. She resides in Cincinnati with her husband, Noel and their three son, Noel, Alberto and Roberto.

Jiwon Son

JKorean pianist Jiwon Son is an active soloist, collaborative pianist and piano teacher. She holds a Master of Music degree and Artist Diploma from Colloge-Conservatory of Music, where she honed her skills as a highly skilled and passionate pianist. Jiwon specializes in both classical and contemporary piano techniques and is dedicated to fostering a love of music in her students.

Jiwon is an experienced and passionate piano teacher with over 10 years of teaching students of all ages and skill levels. She believes in tailoring lessons to each student’s individual needs and learning style, creating a supportive and engaging environment. She has successfully prepared students for local and national music competitions and is committed to helping her students develop a love for music while mastering their craft.

In addition to her teaching, she is an active performer in her local community, contributing as a pianist at Batavia First Presbyterian Church and Forest-Aires Womens Chorus. Her career as both a teacher and performer has made a lasting impact, helping to cultivate a deep appreciation for music and the arts in the lives of those around her.
